Chateauneuf-du-Pape Dinner with Winemaker Guillemette Ferrando

We are pleased to welcome Guillemette Ferrando of Famille Isabel Ferrando to The Pheasant. The story of Famille Isabel Ferrando is an unlikely one, exemplifying Isabel's drive and a passion carried on further by her daughter, Guillemette. Isabel left a successful banking career behind and followed her passion to make wines in Chateauneuf-du-Pape when she founded the winery in 2003. With no winemaking experience, but strong determination and dedication to the craft, she found mentorship with the great late Henri Bonneau. She is among the Top 100 wines in Wine Spectator magazine. Today Guillemette joins her mother, working alongside her and ushering in the next era of Famille Isabel Ferrando. These are small production, organically farmed wines with the beautiful mix of power and grace. This game dinner will be featuring a range of wines in the dinner, including their rare Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc, Chateauneuf du Pape, and 80 year old vine 100% Grenache Colombis.
